One of the best places to appreciate these views is definitely Flames Restaurant at The Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff. In honour of the season, Flames have launched two new menus and a limited edition Gin to celebrate.
Limited Edition Gin
Cool off with the new limited “4 All Seasons: Spring Edition” Gin, when you indulge and relax at Flames Restaurant.
When adding tonic to create your Jacaranda inspired G&T, the vivid blue spirit transforms into violet – the perfect celebration of the purple blaze that in turn transforms Johannesburg as Jacaranda trees bloom.
The refreshing “4 All Seasons: Spring Edition” Gin is distilled and bottled solely for Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff by Ol’ Jimmy’s Microbrewery and Nano-distillery. This unique Gin quietly seduces with its infusion of butterfly blue pea flower, lime blossom and jasmine.

The Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff has also launched two Jacaranda inspired offerings, exclusive to the Flames Restaurant – the Jacaranda Aperitivo Afternoons and the Jacaranda Friday Lunch.
Jacaranda Aperitivo Afternoons
Flames invites you to sample the signature G&T or one of the four bespoke cocktails crafted by local mixologists – Molecular Bars.
Round off the experience with a choice of two canapés or sharing plates. Indulge in the skillfully devised menu by Chef Keith Frisley, which includes baked purple figs with Brie cheese and hazelnuts; and salmon tataki, avocado and coriander pesto served with crudité, to name few.
The Jacaranda Aperitivo Afternoons will be running from Friday 4 October until Sunday 8 December 2019 between 15:00 and 18:00 exclusively at Flames Restaurant.

Friday Jacaranda Lunch
For a gastronomical experience, Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff welcomes patrons to the Friday Jacaranda Lunch, served between 11h00 and 15h00.
Flames presents a buffet of seasonal cold appetisers, followed by an a-la-carte main course and a selection of desserts from their master pastry chefs. With drinks packages offered to large groups, the Friday Jacaranda Lunch is perfect for a year-end celebration to remember!
The Jacaranda Lunch will be running every Friday until 6 December 2019.

For those who would prefer to try something different, visit Pre-View bar or Après Spa. There Chef Daniel Payne has specially prepared a tasty array of dishes and cocktails to complement the season.
