Created from the handful of fruit the distillery tree produces each year, the first batch went on to win a double-gold medal before it was even released. Now, as the white and yellow flowers bloom on the trees, the tree just a few metres from the distillery door is alive with bees from the distilleries’ two hives.
The small-batch Flowstone Snuffbox Gin promises warm aromas with big flavours, apparently offering hints of citrus and spice washing over your palate like a warm hug.
The Pegu Club Cocktail below is a recipe said to bring out the soul of its botanicals.
Pegu Club Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Flowstone Snuffbox Gin
- 30 ml orange liqueur
- 15 ml lime juice
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- Lime wedge or twist for garnish
Method:
- Gather the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge or twist.
- Serve and enjoy!
